About

We are a community-minded, welcoming and active group of parents and carers who are passionate about public education and the local community. Our parent-led committee plays an important role in the school community through facilitating communication and cooperation between parents/families and school.

Our aim is to support the school through events, funding, feedback and communication to enhance every child's experience and to provide extra resources where possible.

Being part of the P&C provides a great opportunity to stay informed about school activities, connect with other families, become an active part of the school community, and support your child's educational journey. We invite parents and carers to participate in the events and initiatives that we run throughout the year, and to attend our regular meetings.

How to get involved

All parents and carers at our school are welcome to join our P&C meetings and/or become a member of the P&C. All opinions, voices and expertise to help improve our school are welcomed, respected and encouraged.

If you would like to become a paid member of the P&C (which is voluntary and allows you to vote on motions) you can pay a gold coin donation into the P&C Cammeray Account below. It's valid for 12months and our year is Oct/Nov through to Sept/Oct the following year.

Upcoming Meetings

The P&C meetings provide an excellent forum for parents and carers to engage with the school community, contribute their perspectives, and stay informed about school activities.

P&C meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month, from 7 to 8pm.

The 2025 meeting dates are:

19th February (Term 1 Week 4)
19th March (Term 1 Week 8)
21st May (Term 2 Week 4)
18th June (Term 2 Week 8)
20th August (Term 3 Week 5)
17th September (Term 3 Week 9)
15th October (Term 4 Week 1)
19th November – P&C Meeting & AGM (Term 4 Week 6)

NB: 19th February and 19th November meetings (first and last meetings of the year) will be held onsite at CPS Staffroom. Location for other meetings TBD.

P&C Uniform Shop

Our uniform Shop is run entirely by parent volunteers led by Callista Deutsch.

Opening hours are 9-9.30am on Mondays and 2.30-3pm on Fridays. To find the uniform shop enter the school via the Palmer Street gate and turn left.

You can also order new uniform items via the Flexischools app and the items will be delivered to your child in class.
